Playa
Flamenca
Playa Flamenca is a large urbanisation with with two sandy beaches, next to the busy resort of Torrevieja. Unlike Torrevieja, Playa Flamenca is quieter with a number of small developments of both villas and apartments, the majority having a communal swimming pool in the centre of each development. Distance from the beach varies with some being on the beachfront and others stretching back as far as 15 minute walk or a 5 minute car journey A large number of properties benefit from having sea views from their roof terraces due to the slightly sloping landscape. Playa Flamenca also benefits from its own precinct with a number of excellent bars and restaurants, along with three large supermarkets all in walking distance of most of the developments. We recommend a visit to the lobster restaurant on the sea front. Playa Flamenca is family friendly and very safe with wide footpaths and speed restrictions on the roads. Playa Flamenca's beaches are coves with crystal clear water and fine sand, gently sloping making them safe for children. Playa Flamenca is only a 15 minute drive from the Golf Courses at Villamartin.

La
Zenia
La Zenia is the next coastal resort to Playa Flamenca, although they are so close that they could almost be mistaken as one. Again, La Zenia also has a number of small urbanisations, but the beach front has a large number of luxury detached villas built in varying styles, all with fantastic views of the sea. La Zenia also has a wonderful sandy beach, with plenty of parking on the main road down to the beach. La Zenia beach also has a good value restaurant and cafeteria purchased on the rocks with fantastic views of the sea. There is a lovely footpath by the sea that takes you through to the next resort of Playa Flamenca on one side and Cabo Roig on the other side. La Zenia also has a number of shops, a supermarket and restaurants all within walking distance of the beach and most urbanisations. We recommend a visit to the Chinese restaurant on the roundabout. La Zenia is also only a 10 minute drive from the Golf Courses at Villamartin.

Cabo Roig
Cabo Roig is the next resort down from La Zenia and again is almost attached. It again has its own beach, a small marina and a number of wonderful beach front villas. Cabo Roig has its own shops, cafes, bars and restaurants around 500m from the beach on the main road. The seafront at Cabo Roig is quieter than Playa Flamenca and La Zenia but is still in walking distance of more busy areas of the neighbouring resorts. We recommend the walk along the seafront from Cabo Roig through La Zenia and on to Playa Flamenca on a warm evening (beautiful views of the sea and landscape, also the chance to view a few of the wonderful luxury villas set in their own grounds.) Cabo Roig is only a 10 minute drive from the Golf Courses at Villamartin and only a 15 minute drive from Torrevieja.

Villamartin
Villamartin is the golfing capital in the South of Costa Blanca. A massive urbanisation covering a few miles around the three golf courses in the area. A fantastic location as it is only a 10 minute drive to some of the most beautiful beaches in the Costa Blanca. Villamartin benefits from a very pretty Plaza with a large number of restaurants and bars, very pretty in the evening. Serving food all day, there are a selection of good restaurants including Chinese, Italian and Spanish all with reasonably priced menus and the excellent value menu del dia (menu of the day). Villamartin is a family resort with much to offer all ages, including swimming, cycling, fishing and of course golf to name a few.
