General Information

Fully furnished 1 bed, 1st floor apartment with sun terrace over looking the plaza.  Fully equipped kitchen, Spanish TV, air conditioning in the lounge.  Communal pool.  This property is suitable for adults only.  The apartment is fully furnished and offers a very comfortable environment where the owners have added a number of personal touches.

The Accommodation

A sofa and 2 armchairs provide plenty of room to relax at the end of the day.  The delightful terrace just through the patio doors at the end of the lounge has 4 comfortable chairs and an external table where you can pass an evening just people watching.  The lounge has air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a television with Spanish channels and a mini hi fi.  A dining table and 4 chairs are also provided should you decide to eat in.

An arched serving hatch opens up the kitchen which is fully equipped with oven & hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave oven.  Other items include a coffee maker, toaster and even an iron and ironing board.  All the necessary cooking utensils, cutlery, glasses, crockery etc are provided.

The bedroom has 2 singles beds, fitted wardrobes and bedside table. A ceiling fan is also fitted in the bedroom.

The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, bidet, w.c and wash hand basin.  All the necessary bath towels are supplied.

There is a storage cupboard in the hall where the visitor will find sun loungers, a beach umbrella and a Z bed for the third guest.

The lovely communal pool is for residents use only and a key is supplied for guests.  This is a very popular location with every amenity on hand and visitors should be aware of the noise level associated with such facilities. 

Location

This typically Spanish apartment is situated in the Plaza at Villa Martin.  The Plaza with renowned choice of restaurants and bars is a very popular night spot for holiday makers and golfers.  2 levels of establishments guarantees that all tastes will be catered for.

In the summer the plaza is takes on a life of its own with many of the restaurants offering live music which adds to the vibrant atmosphere.  There are also some shops offering gifts and a supermarket that opens 7 days a week and stocks many familiar UK brands.

For the golfer a 5 minute walk and you can be on the first tee at Villa Martin golf club.  If this isn't enough then 10 minutes in the car and you have another 2 excellent courses to chose from. 

For the beach lover, 10 minutes by car heading towards the coast and you will find La Zenia Beach and this is just one of many along this stretch of the coast.

The Local Area

Activities in the area include golf with a choice of 3 local courses, beaches stretching the length of the nearby coastline, horse riding, go-karting, tennis and water sports. Scuba diving schools also operate in the area. If you really want to see more of what the area has to offer then family bike hire can be arranged and bikes delivered to the apartment.

The nearby town of Torrevieja offers a host of shops down its main roads and side streets and the new Haberneras Centre next to Carrefour offers all of its shops in one location. The nearby Saturday market at Playa Flamenca is not to be missed.
